Water target is one of the important components of the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, while international water cooperation and exchange plays a critical role in achieving these goals. Given that international water-related organizations are playing an increasingly important role in raising water awareness, promoting sustainable water resources development, making actions and plans, and ensuring rational water utilization, a round-table meeting of international organization leaders will be held on the afternoon of October 17, 2017 to discuss the sharing of global progress, consensus of water-related international organizations, promotion of actions plans, and push forward the realization of the water target in the UN sustainable development goals. Together with other stakeholders, leaders of about 12 international water-related organizations, including World Water Council, Asia Water Council and Global Water Partnership, are attending this meeting and participate in the discussions.
